Really excited. We’d contacted the Woodland Trust last week about doing a Craft Bomb event on the sculpture trail at Moncreiffe Hill, Perth and they’ve come back and said provided we’re respectful of the place, etc. it should be fine for us to go ahead.
They’ve even offered us some help with PR, etc. so thank you Woodland Trust 🙂
Craft Bomb is part of Voluntary Arts Week and takes place between 11th and 19th May 2013. The idea is that people use any art form to decorate their local environment with temporary art works for one week. If you’re interested in getting involved, there’s a pack to download online and if you’re in the Perth & Kinross area, come and visit our creations.
We’ve left things a bit late so we’re still pulling things together. There are a couple of us doing needle felted mushrooms and we’re aiming to have around 30+ hidden around the sculpture trail so visitors can try and find them.
Watch this space and check for Craft Bomb 2013 updates….
